Soak in 2,000 years of history during your discovery of the excavated ruins of Pompeii. A local guide provides an in-depth view of this remarkably persevered archaeological site as you walk past patrician homes, public baths and commercial districts that strikingly recall day-to-day life when Rome was at the apex of her power. Return to Rome.    (B,L)
