Itinerary

Day One – Wednesday,                SALT LAKE CITY * SEATTLE
Depart this morning for your fun filled tour including the amazing sights of the Pacific Northwest.  After landing in Seattle, we have a short drive to famous PIKES MARKET.  Grab a bite to eat, shop at one the many boutique stores or enjoy views of the waterfront area.  Later, we check into our Hyatt Hotel which is located right across the street from the famous Space Needle. Dinner on your own tonight at one of the many local restaurants around our hotel.

Day Two – Thursday,                    SEATTLE                  
Experience the “Emerald City” with a local guide today as we visit the SPACE NEEDLE, HIRAM CHITTENDEN LOCKS, the MAGNOLIA’S and much more!  Free time for lunch at the famous SEATTLE WATERFRONT - try the Fish n’ Chips! After a fun filled day of sightseeing, we return to our hotel. Free time for dinner and exploring on your own.    (B)

Day Three – Friday,                       SEATTLE * PORTLAND
Our journey takes us from Seattle to Portland with amazing sights along the way. We’ll first visit Mount ST. HELENS Volcano visitor center. Spend time along the one mile walk around an ecosystem created by the powerful blast and ash or spend your time inside with the many exhibits. Later, we travel into the city of Portland to see the world-famous INTERNATIONAL ROSE TEST GARDENS.  Enjoy a special group dinner this evening at a local favorite!   (B,D)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Day Four – Saturday,                     PORTLAND * MULTNOMAH FALLS * NEWPORT   
This morning enjoy the view as we drive through the Columbia River Gorge with stops along the way. See the beautiful vistas of lakes and rivers as we wind our way to the incomparable MULTNOMAH FALLS. Enjoy some time to walk the grounds or even walk along the paved trail taking you closer to the falls. After checking into our ideally located hotel, we have a unique “Behind the Scenes” dining experience at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.  (B,D)                                                                                        

Day Five – Sunday,     NEWPORT * FLORENCE * NORTH BEND
Today your tour begins with a visit to YAQUINA HEAD LIGHTHOUSE. Operating since 1873, Oregon’s tallest lighthouse is a sight to see! Then enjoy a scenic drive to BANDON-BY-THE-SEA with its unique offshore rock formations. Photo stops en-route, before visiting Florence Old Town for lunch on your own. See the incredible beauty of the area on a private GIANT DUNE BUGGY ride covering 8 miles of Oregon’s sand dunes and two miles of ocean beach. Continue to North Bend where we overnight at the deluxe Mill Casino & Hotel.   (B)                                                                                                                                                                              
Day Six – Monday,       GOLD BEACH * ROGUE RIVER * REDWOODS
Get ready for some thrills and excitement as this morning we take a JETBOAT ride on the ROGUE RIVER. These fast and fun boats will take us up stream where we’ll have an included group lunch at a charming river town. Return to Gold Beach by Jetboat. We’ll then follow the beautiful Pacific Coast highway into REDWOOD NATIONAL FOREST. See some of our country’s biggest and oldest trees. These incredible trees stand high above as we drive through the park. We’ll stop at several spots along the way for amazing photos with these Redwood Giants. Later we drive to Eureka where we enjoy a special group dinner at Samoa Cookhouse!    (B,L,D)

Day Seven – Tuesday,         EUREKA * AVENUE OF THE GIANTS * SAN FRANCISCO
Today we drive through the famous AVENUE OF THE GIANTS for one last look at some of the oldest and biggest Redwoods in the park. Then we’re off to San Francisco with an amazing drive through beautiful Sonoma Wine Country. Enjoy the beautiful wine country scenery before crossing the world-famous GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE.  We arrive at our Marriott hotel right at Fisherman’s Wharf.  We’ll have a fun group dinner tonight at ‘Boudins Bakery’, then the evening is yours to enjoy the many fun shops and sights at the Wharf.            (B,D)                      

Day Eight – Wednesday,          SAN FRANCISCO
Today we have a guided sightseeing tour taking us to all the important sights in San Francisco. We’ll visit LOMBARD STREET, GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, GOLDEN GATE PARK, the PRESIDIO, TWIN PEAKS, COIT TOWER, the BAY BRIDGE, FERRY BUILDING MARKETPLACE and much more! This afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy! You might want to take a trip on an iconic trolley, visit Alcatraz, take a bay cruise, or stroll around Pier 39 and World’s Famous Fisherman’s Wharf.          (B)                    
                                                                                                                                                                 
Day Nine – Thursday,           SAN FRANCISCO * SALT LAKE CITY
Enjoy breakfast and then take a fun sightseeing tour to SAUSILITO this morning. This afternoon we board our flight back to Salt Lake with many wonderful memories of our journey and adventures along the beautiful Pacific Northwest Coast!                  (B)
