Salt Lake to Jackson Hole
Depart this morning from the Salt Lake airport for your fun filled tour of the "Wild West" including the Black Hills, Jackson Hole, Cody, the Little Big Horn and the amazing National Parks of Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and the Badlands. Enjoy a beautiful drive through scenic Utah canyons and travel along the Snake River as we make our way to Jackson Hole today. After arriving in Jackson, we enjoy free time downtown before checking into our Deluxe Rockwell Inn hotel, located one block from the main Town Plaza. The evening is yours to enjoy in this iconic and popular cowboy town with many restaurants and shops.
Jackson Hole * Teton National Park * Yellowstone National Park * Cody, WY
Your tour this morning begins with a scenic drive through beautiful Teton National Park with stops for great photo opportunities. After arriving in Yellowstone National Park, we visit the famous Old Faithful Geyser. Enjoy time walking around and seeing the many intriguing "hot pots." Then, enjoy time at the Grand Prismatic Spring, one of the most photographed and Yellowstone's largest hot spring. Continue to Yellowstone Canyon to the beautiful Lower Falls of Yellowstone. Enjoy the majestic beauty from Artist Point and breath-taking scenery of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. After a fun filled day in Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, enjoy dinner on your own before we travel out the East gate to Cody, Wyoming. Overnight in the Deluxe The Cody hotel this evening. (B)

After our big day yesterday, the morning is yours to relax and rest. With a later start to the morning you'll have the option this morning to visit the LDS Cody Murals, or get in a little extra rest at the hotel before visiting the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Also known as the Smithsonian of the West, this museum is a highlight of the tour! With five massive museums under one roof, explore stories and objects of the "Wild West". Later this afternoon we're off to Billings where we overnight in an all suites hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure to swim in the pool, relax in the hot tub, and get dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants located around the hotel. (B)
Little Big Horn Battlefield * Buffalo
This morning we'll spend time at the famous Little Big Horn, also known as Custer's Last Stand. See the U.S 7th Cavalry Monument, The Indian Memorial: "Peace Through Unity", and more. Enjoy a very nice box lunch from Great Harvest today, before a specially guided Battlefield tour. Our Native American expert guide will help you re-live and understand the battle that took place here on June 25-26, 1876. Past guests on this tour have raved about this experience and said it was the highlight of the tour! After a memorable day at the Little Big Horn, we travel back into Wyoming and check into the award winning Hampton Inn. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner with your travelling companions at an "Old West" historic restaurant. (B,L,D)
Devils Tower * Deadwood * Mt Rushmore
Your tour begins today with a great photo stop to see Devil's Tower. This National Monument is naturally beautiful as it is inspiring. Get some great pictures and hear the Native American legends of how "Devils Tower" came to be. We continue our travel to the Wild West town of Deadwood! Known for its rough and tumble past, we'll enjoy free time in the "Gun Slinging" town made famous by Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. We arrive in Rapid City where we will stay for two nights at the Fairfield Marriott. After a rest break at the hotel, we're off to enjoy another highlight of the trip, the majestic Mount Rushmore lighting ceremony! (B)
Badlands National Park * Wall Drug
Depart Rapid City to the Badlands National Park with 244,000 acres of eerie, haunting topography. After touring the Badlands with scenic photo stops along the way, we continue to world famous Wall Drug. This once tiny store, built in 1931, has boomed to become over one block in size and is internationally known. Enjoy lunch with the group today before returning to Rapid City to rest and relax *or if needed, to return to Mt. Rushmore for the lighting ceremony. (B, L)
* Note: Depending on weather from last night at the lighting ceremony and if the ceremony was cancelled, we will return to the Mt. Rushmore lighting ceremony this evening. We have planned our itinerary with this extra time so that you do not miss this spectacular, patriotic, and once-in-a-lifetime event. We do it right!
Mt Rushmore * Crazy Horse Mountain * Casper
This morning we have another stop at Mt. Rushmore giving you the opportunity for day time photos. The contrast in light really brings out this incredible mountain carving. Then, we visit the Crazy Horse Mountain memorial. This captivating mountain carving pays tribute to the Native American hero and fearless Sioux, Crazy Horse. Enjoy time in the Indian Museum of North America and enjoy lunch in the Laughing Waters restaurant with our group. After visiting the memorial and Native American museum, we have a special inclusion that we know you will appreciate. We take our private bus to the base of the mountain carving for up close pictures and to take in the beauty of the Crazy Horse mountain carving. Then it's off to Casper, Wyoming for the night. Enjoy a delicious "farewell" dinner tonight at Texas Roadhouse. (B, L, D)
Historic Martin's Cove * Salt Lake City
This morning we visit Historic Martin's Cove. In November 1856, about 500 Mormon emigrants in the Martin & Willey Handcart Company were halted for five days at the Cove by snow and cold while they were on their way to Salt Lake City. Then, we begin our travels to Salt Lake City having had a great tour with new friends and wonderful memories of some of our Nations most beautiful sites and National Parks! Our motorcoach will return back to the Salt Lake International airport where we end our tour. (B)
